Represented the organization on the LaSalle county Solid Waste Advisory Group to the LaSalle County Solid Waste Planning Committee. 1987 Vice President, 1988- 1992 President, 1992 - 1995 Executive Director.
1983 -1984 Participated in concept plan and promoted successful legislation which created the Illinois Michigan Canal Nation Heritage Corridor.
